Lionel Murphy Foundation Postgraduate scholarship | 30 November any year | Disciplines include science, law or legal studies Postgraduate scholarship tenable at an Australian or overseas university for one year only, currently valued at $40,000. For Australian
citizens who have completed or about to complete an undergraduate degree in
science, law or legal studies, or other appropriate discipline, and intend to
pursue postgraduate study in science, law or legal studies, or appropriate
discipline. |
Charlie Perkins Scholarship | 1 November 2013 | For Aboriginal and
Torres strait Islanders. Must be
accepted into a graduate degree program at Oxford or Cambridge (requires
first class honours degree). |
Lurie Prize in the Biomedical Sciences | 1 October 2013 | Recognises
outstanding achievement by promising young scientist in biomedical research
(52 years of age or younger as of Jan 1, 2014). |
NSW Ministerial Award for Cardiovascular Research Excellence | 27 September 2013 | Nominations
accepted for senior scientist, clinician or health services specialist
currently working in NSW that has made outstanding contributions to
scientific / medical research and has a proved track record of collaborations
and evidence of translated successful outcomes. |
Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Research Excellence | 25 September 2013 | All disciplines An award from
each Faculty/Wollotuka; a campus award; and then an overall VC Award for
Research Excellence. |

Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship | 12 August 2013 | All disciplines For successful
researchers who have completed their PhD in the past five years to undertake
postdoctoral research in the U.S. This
scholarship supports a 3-12 month program. |

The Crawford Medal | TBC in 2014 | Presented biennially Humanities disciplines The
