Central Coast campus attracts record number of top students

A record-breaking 1,458 students have received a Main Round offer to study at The University of Newcastle’s Central Coast campus in 2013.

More than a quarter of these students received ATARs as high as 90 or more and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Andrew Parfitt, said that these results showed that more high achieving students were choosing to study at the Central Coast campus.

“The median ATAR of applicants receiving a Main Round Offer is 83. These results are testament to the quality of our students, and of the attractiveness of the degrees offered at our University.”
