The University of Newcastle offers local secondary school students the opportunity to get a taste of tertiary life by joining the University Library.
Did you know that the University of Newcastle Library has the longest opening hours of any University in Australia? High School students who are working on school assignments, preparing for the HSC, or just looking for a good book to read are welcome to browse the shelves or use the Library as a place to study. For $22 a year, students can also become members and borrow from the Library’s collection of more than 1.3 million items.
