Career Summary
Biography
Jeremy is an experienced emergency nurse with over 17 years of clinical practice in major metropolitan emergency departments in Newcastle. Throughout his career, he has held a range of education and leadership positions. Jeremy continues to work clinically as a Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department. In these roles, Jeremy developed a strong interest in the value of clinician-led research to enhance the delivery of care in complex and high-acuity settings.
Since 2022, Jeremy has contributed to the University of Newcastle through course development and teaching across a range of program from the Bachelor of Nursing program through to the Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) program. He is also pursuing a PhD, focusing on peer-led cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in the Australian community.
