These procedures provide the University requirements for the operation and mangement of overhead travelling cranes including Bridge and Gantry Cranes installed in University Buildings.

This includes the requirements for ensuring that people are not placed at risk from the operation of the crane.  These procedures may be supplemented by local procedures and requirements.
