Biography
Robert Rowe is a current PhD English candidate at The University of Newcastle, Australia. His dissertation is in the field of crime fiction, with a special focus on modern Australian detective fiction. He graduated a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 with a Double Major in English and Writing. In 2016 he received Honours Class 1, the Faculty Medal, and had review articles published in The Translator journal, and, in 2017 he received the University Medal for English and Writing (https://www.newcastle.edu.au/about-uon/our-university/achievements/student-success/university-medal-recipients).
This year Robert presented at "Liquidscapes" hosted by Art.Earth at Dartington Hall, UK, as well as "Captivating Criminality 5: Insiders and Outsiders" held in conjunction with Bath Spa University at Corsham Court, UK. He also presented at the 2018 FEDUA Research Symposium and NewMac National Postgraduate Humanities Conference 2018, and was on the organising committee for NewMac National Postgraduate Humanities Conference 2018.
