Biography
I am a PhD student at Faculty of Education and Arts, School of Education, University of Newcastle, Australia. I start my background as a lecturer in a state owned university in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. My teaching focuses are in teaching methodology, research methodology, public speaking and communication management.
I have been teaching at Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh for more than 10 years. Now, I leave on my study to pursue my doctoral program until 2024. I will focus my research on teacher education and professional development examining teacher certification in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar districts, Indonesia. I have some research experiences which I believe would be valuable skills to do my PhD and finish my project on target.
My previous experiences including the research consultant and consulting for political training were enriching my expertise in research methodology and understanding important issues in community. I also fortunate for my doubled opportunity to participate in international scaled training in McGill University in Montreal in community development in 2005 and 2008.
