Career Summary

Biography

I am a research and policy professional whose work aims to advance the position of Aboriginal peoples in Australia. I have worked with and for Aboriginal Communities in NSW and their Languages for the past 10 years.

Two quotes guide my work:

“Evidence is my weapon of choice” Jason Ardler PSM, Yuin man

and

“Working with languages... it makes you feel impatient, but it also makes you very patient” Uncle Gary Williams, Gumbaynggirr Elder

I am committed to producing work that positively influences policy and investment, and promotes self-determination, for Aboriginal peoples. As an Australian of Danish and Irish heritage who works with Aboriginal peoples and matters, I feel I have a duty to help bring Aboriginal voices to the forefront of research and ensure data sovereignty is upheld in any projects I undertake.
