Biography
I am a former RAAF Officer with specialisations in engineering, maintenance and logistics. My most recent employment was with Australian Aerospace (2005-2014) as the P3 Orion Senior Maintenance Manager with responsibility for regulatory compliance and aviation safety management engagement. I hold a Master’s degree in Aviation Management (UoN 2014).
I am currently undertaking a PhD through the School of Psychology. I have a keen interest in safety management systems (the focus of this current study) and I maintain active connections with Defence and industry colleagues. The title of my thesis is "Uncertain outcomes: Traversing the breach between innovation and violation in aviation maintenance".
