Research expertise
I completed my PhD in Finance in 2006. The research involved in the PhD was highly quantitative and examined methods of modelling the preformance of managed funds. More recently, I am examining the notion of 'pedagogical content knowledge' and how it can be incorporated into mathematics teacher education programs. I am also interested in the effective integration of new technologies as educational tools both in the higher education setting and in relation to the teaching of mathematics in schools.
