Biography

Jo (Josephine) Burton has been a nurse for 38 years committed to a social justice nursing philosophy. She is a Primary Health Nurse Practitioner and is also the Program Convener of the Masters Custodial Health, University of Newcastle.

Jo is currently undertaking Doctoral studies, researching the professional identity of the Custodial Health Nurse (generalist).
