Pathways for UEC Students

ABOUT NIC

Newcastle International College offers international students a clear pathway to a bachelor’s degree at the University of Newcastle. Based at the University’s Callaghan campus, students enjoy studying in a supportive environment in small class, while being on a university campus.

NIC’s specialised Diploma programs consist of eight academic courses (equivalent to Year 1 of a bachelor’s degree). Successful completion of a Diploma program with the required scores will enable students to progress to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle.

UEC Student Scholarships

The University of Newcastle’s Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment in collaboration with Newcastle International College (NIC), is committed to helping high-achieving students through a special joint scholarship program.

Up to AUD 55,000 (~MYR 165,000) worth of scholarships will be awarded to selected top performing students. Each student will be awarded up to AUD 5,500 (~MYR 16,560) towards your studies at NIC and the University of Newcastle.
