Centre for Organic Electronics Winter School
This three-day event will give you a taste of the cutting-edge research that is going on in the Centre for Organic Electronics (COE) labs, highlighting the advantages of considering a career in research.
The school involves a mixture of presentations, demonstrations, a think tank, and hands-on learning experiences. Highlights include:
- Event bag with lots of goodies!
- Fabrication of your own organic solar cell and transistor.
- Guest speakers from the CSIRO(info on summer scholarships), Australian Synchrotron and ANFF.
- Hands-on operation of the COE's facilities.
- Creating your own solutions to energy and sensor problems during a think tank session.
- Lots of Prizes everyday of the event.
- Students completing the winter school will get the event added to their academic transcript.
The workshop is open to all undergraduate students from all colleges, including students from Science, Engineering & Built Environment, Health & Medicine, and Teaching degrees.
Dates: Postponed to 4th - 6th of October 2023
Time: 9 am – 5 pm each day except the last day, which goes until 3 pm
Lunch and morning tea is provided. Attendance is FREE but places are limited so register your interest as soon as possible!
