Description
Evidence-based and relating to safety in the workplace, this course will enable you to recognise, assess, manage, and review control measures implemented for psychosocial hazards in the workplace.You will apply risk-management principles to identify and manage psychosocial risk. It will enable you, as managers and leaders, to build staff resilience and reduce burnout, disengagement, sick days, and strained relationships in the workplace by focussing on building mental health capital and create healthier organisations from the inside out.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course students will be able to:
1. Identify the biological and psychological factors in stress and resilience.
2. Identify and discuss the roles and responsibilities of the organisation, managers, and employees in addressing workplace mental health.
3. Design and develop a resilience action plan in the workplace.
