Catering and food options

At Student Living, residents have the option of choosing from catered living or self-catered rooms with communal kitchens.

If you have a dietary requirement (allergies, intolerance, vegetarian etc.) we are more than happy to accommodate you to the best of our ability. Call our customer service team on 4913 8888 and advise us of your name, student number and dietary restriction and we will forward the information to the kitchen staff.

To make it easier for you to avoid foods you can't have, there are also allergy disclosures on all the meals in the Dining Hall.

With current COVID-19 restrictions in place, the Dining Hall is open for takeaway dinner service only.

Monday to Friday: 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Saturday and Sunday:  5:00pm to 7:00pm

Catered residents are automatically registered on our catering system when they get here via their student card and are provided with a takeaway container.

Since you are registered using your student card, you must bring it with you to the Dining Hall when you collect your meals.

Please make sure you wear shoes and covered clothing (no bikinis or bare chests) to avoid burns and spills.

The Edwards Hall Dining Hall is an alcohol-free zone.

If you decide you don't want to cook for yourself, you can opt in to a meal plan during your time with us (with the exception of Blue Gum House which is entirely self-catered).

You can choose from:

  • 5 meals package for $52.00 per week.
  • Casual meal vouchers for $12.00 each.
