Your University Preparation Program (UPP)
UPP has been designed to help you make a successful transition to university and to support you through your studies.
This FREE program provides you with academic knowledge and confidence in the weeks leading up to, and the first few weeks of your new degree. As part of the program you will receive:
What does UPP involve?
For the 3 weeks before Semester 1 starts, you'll study a customised list of Bridging and Refresher Courses, meet your Academic expert and participate in interactive skill-building sessions.
Once Semester 1 classes on February 22 begin, you'll have access to your academic support and peer mentors for help with settling into study over the first 6 weeks of your degree.

Meet your Academic expert, learn how to set goals, and gain other skills to help you study at University.
Attend your Degree Orientation
1 full day to Orientate you to your degree with detailed program and support information.

2 x Recommended Bridging and Refresher Courses
We'll provide you with some recommended courses based on your degree. Depending on what we recommend these courses may be scheduled in separate weeks or during the same week.
The UPP program is available to students commencing an Undergraduate degree in Semester 1, 2021.
- Commencing or continuing students in an Enabling Pathways program are not eligible for UPP, but are still welcome to complete any of our Bridging and Refresher Courses. Enabling Pathways students who have completed Open Foundation, Newstep or Yapug are eligible to participate in UPP.
- International students are not eligible for UPP or our Bridging and Refresher Courses, please visit the International student support webpage for help with starting your program.

Register here before 25 January, 2021 to commence the program 1 February, 2021.
