Dear Valued Students, Staff, Colleagues and Partners,

Re: Singapore Campus Operations – Post Circuit Breaker

We hope everyone is keeping well and in good spirits. With reference to our announcement on 24 April 2020 on the extension of the circuit breaker to 1 June 2020, we are glad that Singapore will be exiting the Circuit Breaker and embarking on Phase One of the post-circuit breaker period from 2 June 2020.

The UON Singapore corporate office may be able to resume operations in Phase Two. This will depend on Singapore government’s decision and if the community infection rates remain low and stable over the subsequent two weeks. We may know by mid-June about when to proceed to Phase Two and we will keep you informed of the progress.

For students studying at BCA Academy

Please be informed that BCA Academy has suspended all on-campus lessons since 6 April 2020. Home-based learning and online assessments are being conducted via BlackBoard Collaborate Ultra for Semester 1 students studying at BCA Academy for all courses.

For sessions with laboratory and practical components, we have made necessary arrangements so that students will be supported accordingly to cope with home-based learning. Please visit the respective course BlackBoard site for details.

Our scheduled Teaching & Learning consultations conducted by Ms. Devi Kalay will continue to be made available to students via Zoom Meetings.

For Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) students, the Semester One examination period will be scheduled between 6 July to 17 July and all the examinations will either be conducted online or will be replaced with another assessment item.

To ensure that all students have the required resources/equipment to do the examination online, please remember to complete a form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BCE-Sem1-Exams before 5 June 2020. Please get in touch with your program coordinator, Dr Akhtar Hossain if you have any queries on this matter.
