Extended Circuit Breaker

On 21 April 2020, the Singapore Government announced the extension of compulsory closure of workplaces and compulsory home-based learning for universities and schools until 1 June 2020 as part of the circuit breaker measures to further minimise community spread of COVID-19 virus in Singapore.

Dear Valued Students, Staff, Colleagues and Partners,

Re: Temporary closure of Singapore campus corporate office

Hence, the UON Singapore corporate office will be closed from 7 April to 1 June but the UON Singapore team will be working from home and will continue to support our staff, colleagues, students and partners during this period.

For students studying at PSB Academy

Please be informed that the Trimester 1 final exam and FYP project presentation will remain as scheduled for students studying at PSB Academy and will be conducted online from 13 April 2020 onwards.

Please refer to your Course BlackBoard site for the announcement and instructions on the online examination format.

Trimester 2 will commence on 5 May (subject to confirmation) and more details regarding teaching and learning and your course enrolment will be sent via email.

All courses will continue to be delivered online via BlackBoard Ultra where possible and arrangements for laboratory and practical sessions will be advised later.

Our scheduled Teaching & Learning consultations will be made available to students via Zoom Meetings.

For students studying at BCA Academy

Please be informed that BCA Academy will be suspending all on-campus lessons with effect from 6 April 2020.

Home-based learning and online assessments will be conducted via BlackBoard Ultra for Semester 1 students studying at BCA Academy for all courses.

For sessions with laboratory and practical components, we will be adjusting the arrangements with the lecturers and details will be announced on the respective course BlackBoard site.

Our scheduled Teaching & Learning consultations will be made available to students via Zoom Meetings.

For Program Coordinators and Course Co-ordinators for UON Programs in Singapore

Students may contact our Program Coordinators and Course Co-ordinator for assistance or if they have queries.

Our Teaching and Learning Adviser will continue to support students as we transit into full online delivery for our courses.
