Mr Tao Yeoh Chi

Yeoh Chi started working in 1976 in the Administrative Service of the Government of Singapore. He worked in Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications and Information and the Prime Minister's Office holding various senior positions. In 1985/86, he was seconded to Temasek Holdings to be its Hong Kong wholly-owned subsidiary's General Manager.  

In 1988, he left the Public Service to pursue his career in the private sector. From 1988 to 1999, he worked for large Singapore multi-national companies in print media sector (Times Publishing Ltd) and also in the high-end manufacturing sector (Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd). He comes with a strong background in human resources management. In June 1999, he joined Media Corporation of Singapore. He helped in the re-structuring of the broadcasting media in Singapore. He left MediaCorp as Executive VP (Corporate) in March 2002. He has been appointed Independent Director of three public companies listed in the SGX.

He was awarded the Colombo Plan Scholarship in 1971 and INSEAD Executive Programme Scholarship in 1983.
