|Establishment||The Hunter New England Health (HNEH) Indigenous Scholarships have been created to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in a Health Discipline at the University of Newcastle.
This particular scholarship has been established to support a continuing student enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery at the University of Newcastle.
This scholarship is intended to support and encourage students to pursue a career in the health sector; more specifically, within the Hunter New England Local Health District.
Applicable to: Nursing, Nurses, Midwives, Midwifery, ATSI, Indigenous, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islanders, Hunter, New Engalnd Residents. high achievers

This scholarship provides a benefit of $5000 each year, payable in instalments of $2500 after Semester 1 and 2 census dates.
This is a continuing scholarship with a total benefit of $15,000 over the full 3 year tenure, should ongoing eligibility be met in each semester.
