The Research Information Management System (RIMS) is an integrated online system to manage grants and ethics administration relating to research projects.
RIMS offers researchers, administrative and executive staff a single point of reference for these aspects of research projects.
RIMS is used for a variety of functions including:
- as a data management tool for human and animal ethics administration,
- for grants administration,
- as a place for University researchers, both staff and students, to view ethics and grant records on which they are named as an investigator,
- as a historical record as well as providing researchers with the opportunity to track the status and progress of current ethics and grant submissions.
