Sample submission and pricing
All users are required to discuss their sample preparation and analysis requirements with the appropriate ABRF staff member prior to any instrument use. Contact details for staff and their equipment responsibility can be found on the ABRF contact page.
Presently, the ABRF operates to serve the needs of internal clients only with their research programs. However, work for external clients may be performed on selected instruments but only after consultation and approval with the ABRF. Prospective external clients should be aware that, in all circumstances, internal client needs are a priority.
Costs for services
For internal clients, the ABRF Advisory Committee is presently reviewing the pricing structures for the use of instruments, consumables, and associated technical support etc.
For the moment, existing and potential users are required to consult the ABRF as to what materials they will need to supply at their own cost. The ABRF covers expenses such as maintenance (e.g. instrument parts) and some consumables.
Costs for external client work will be pre-arranged with the ABRF before commencement of any work.
