The DD routinely has vacancies across all levels of research scholarship from work experience through honours, Masters of Science and PhD research programs. Our research interests fall under the broad classifications below. Scholarships available to Overseas Postdoctoral Fellows:
PhD and Masters Degrees by Research
The Centre welcomes applications from prospective Masters and PhD students. To be considered, you will need to be fully fluent in English and have achieved excellent results in your undergraduate studies. For example, an average grade of distinction (GPA 6.0) in Australia, a GPA of more than 3.5 in the US and Canada, or a CPI of more than 8.6 in India.
Applications will be welcomed from those with Undergraduate or Masters degrees in Biology, Chemisty, Biomedical Science or Biotechnology.
To express your interest, please email your CV, together with certified copies of your undergraduate transcripts and a brief statement of your research interests to the PRC Director and/or the CI aligned to your area of interest.

The Centre provides a number of summer scholarships for undergraduate students to undertake research projects. The students will normally be enrolled in an Science or Biotechnology degree, but applicants from other disciplines are encouraged to apply. The research positions are of 6-8 weeks duration, starting in December, and are open to students from within Australia.
To be eligible, you will need to have achieved excellent results in your Australian undergraduate studies (for example, an average grade of distinction or better).
