If you would like to participate in our research, the following projects are looking for volunteers: NEW: Volunteers wanted for research study
We are seeking women who suffer from regular menstrual migraine to participate in a new research study that will investigate whether a nutritional supplement (resveratrol) can prevent menstrual migraines, as well as improve blood vessel function in the brain.
You may be eligible for this study if you:
Are aged between 18 and 50 years
Have regular periods
Suffer from migraines that last at least four hours just before or during your period in your last three menstrual cycles
Participation for this trial will be online and by mail. You will not be required to attend the research centre. However, volunteers who live in Newcastle will be given the option to visit the research centre on three occasions for further testing. If you are eligible for the trial we will send you supplement capsules to take daily for six menstrual cycles and you will also complete a daily supplement diary.
