Promoting research at conferences
Conferences are an opportunity to create awareness of your work to research peers, to business and industry, and to the community. Being a keynote speaker, presenter or part of a panel can also assist in identifying potential partner/s and securing funding.
Highlighting UON Strengths and Performance
When you promote your research you are also promoting the University of Newcastle. To help you make impactful conference presentations the following template, tools and information has been created:
2014 Research and Innovations Highlights Video
This video is designed to provide a snapshot of some of the research and innovation highlights of 2014 and includes references to our world rankings. It would be ideal to add this video to the start of your presentation as a way to introduce your audience to the University of Newcastle and some of our recent achievements.
