Streamlining solar storage
Professor Erich Kisi is a materials scientist whose primary research field is the link between the crystal structures of materials and their physical, mechanical and electrical properties.
Together with Dr Christopher Wensrich (Granular Mechanics Group) and Dr Heber Sugo, and PhD students Dylan Cuskelly and Anthony Rawson from Erich's Structure of Advanced Materials group within the School of Engineering at the University of Newcastle, Erich is using advanced neutron and X-ray diffraction techniques to provide a deeper understanding of conventional and emerging engineering materials. The groups' findings could help revolutionise solar energy storage and a range of industrial processes.
An article and information about Erich's research is available through International Innovation, a global dissemination source for science, research and technology.
