Responsible Counterterrorism Policy

Professor Mark Stewart from the School of Engineering received a five-year Australian Professorial Fellowship in 2011 from the ARC to continue and extend his work in developing risk-modelling techniques for infrastructure which could be subject to terrorist explosive blasts. 

Stewart, a Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Performance and Reliability at The University of Newcastle, has co-authored an article on Responsible Counterterrorism Policy which deals with four issues relating to risk analysis as it relates to terrorism.
