The University of Newcastle’s Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise (KEE) team supports researchers in translating their research outcomes to impact. The team focus on two main areas; business development and intellectual property commercialisation in order to facilitate partnerships with industry to create impact for our regions and beyond.
Intellectual Property
The University’s Intellectual Property (IP) Team assists researchers with all aspects of Intellectual Property, from the first stage of disclosing the idea or technology, right through to discussing the steps of protecting and patenting.
Commercialisation
For government, industry and business, KEE's services can leverage a competitive edge in the global market by providing access to new technology developed by University of Newcastle researchers, to solve problems relevant to your business needs.
