Projects and Research Outputs

The CRHS draws on the multidisciplinary expertise of University researchers to meet sector demand and facilitate industry and government collaborations for the benefit of communities in resource intensive regions. The key priorities of projects through the Centre are to:

  • Identify and address needs relating to health, safety and wellbeing, within the sector
  • Undertake this work through industry, community and government and academic collaborations
  • Utilise the strong foundation of multidisciplinary expertise of University of Newcastle researchers

Partnerships between researchers and end-users are critical for identifying gaps in knowledge, determining priorities for research and working together across the research pathway.
