Research Group Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
The Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Research group focuses on research into the use of both ionising and non-ionising radiation in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
This group brings together academic staff and researchers from the discipline of Medical Radiation Science. Our researchers have expertise in medical physics, radiation therapy and medical imaging techniques; including radiography, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI, mammography, PET imaging, and DEXA bone and body composition analysis.
