The Gender and Education Association at the University of Newcastle
In late 2018, the Centre of Excellence for Equity in Higher Education hosted the Gender and Education Association Conference on Gender, post-truth populism and pedagogies: Challenges and strategies in a shifting political landscape.
Approximately 150 scholars from across the world came together for four days of compelling key notes, panels and symposia.

Professor Penny Jane Burke at National Conference in Myanmar
Professor Penny Jane Burke was invited to speak to a national delegation of Higher Education academics and administrators as they commenced a review of equity policy and practice across the approximately 100 institutions in Myanmar.
