The Organisational Collaboration Research Group (OCRG) is a research group established to foster interdisciplinary research in the area of collaboration. We have a growing research track record in the areas of intra-organisational collaboration and teamwork, and a strong interest in collaboration between organisations.
We have strong partnerships with Universities in China as well as a network of international research partners.
The overall aim of the OCRG is to investigate factors that contribute to effective collaboration, both within and between organisations. Such collaborative activities involve the integration of practices and knowledge across organisational boundaries and professional divides (Bechky, 2003).
The OCRG includes four flagship projects investigating collaboration between or within organisations:
- Organisational Behaviour in Healthcare
- Networks and Collaboration in Multinational Corporations
- Industry-based Collaboration with a focus on Wine Industry Clusters
- Collaboration in International Education
All of these projects investigate collaboration, either across organisational boundaries or across professional and occupational boundaries within organisations.
