Research Expertise
My research involves three areas that I research both separately and jointly - all connected by a focus on people at work. The first research area explores psychological contracting in the workplace and understanding how the employee-employer exchange unfolds over time. The second area focuses on exploring the people dimensions of innovation, including how and why individuals engage in innovative behaviours in the workplace and how individuals influence the innovation process, with a particular focus on the role of innovation champions and promotors. The third area explores employee well-being in the workplace and understanding how employees derive and create meaning from their work, with a focus on concepts stemming from positive organisational scholarship.
