Professional Experience at UON
My primary occupancy with the University of Newcastle is Coordinator, International Partnerships & Projects within UON Global. I also hold two casual positions, Customer Service Assistant, and Ask UON Customer Service Assistant, both within Student Central. I am dedicated to, and take pride in, delivering quality advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders, and to UON students at all stages of the student lifecycle.

  • Coordinator, International Partnerships & Projects, International Partnerships & Finance, UON Global
    Coordinates and delivers a range of specialist services supporting the preparation, execution and ongoing review of agreements. Leads and delivers discrete projects associated with the portfolio.
  • Customer Service Assistant, Campus Life, Careers & Student Advice, Student Central
    Frontline handling of enquiries via phone and email from prospective, current and past students, staff of UON, and the general community. Provision of face-to-face advice and referral via Student Central locations.
  • Ask UON Customer Service Assistant, Student Central
    Delivering excellence in customer service 24/7 at the University’s landmark facility, NeW Space. Information, advice and guidance is provided across academic, administrative, Library, IT, and other support services.

Previous Appointments

  • Customer Service Administrator, Study Abroad and Exchange, UON Global
    Customer service and administrative support to staff and students of UON Global. Provision of back-office functions including event planning, maintenance of social media presence, updating of student records, and correspondence handling.
  • International Engagement Assistant, Student Experience and Community Engagement, UON Global
    Supporting delivery of key student engagement and student success activities. Contribution to implementation and ongoing review of student and community engagement initiatives, including for the UON iLEAD Plus and NUmates programs.
  • Student Success Assistant, Student Central
    Proactive contact with current UON students offering advice and assistance tailored to students’ specific circumstances. Ensure that students are aware of the wide range of available academic and other support services.

Continuing Professional Development
Having completed the Bachelor of Business program with a major in Information Systems in Business in 2015, I then completed the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) / Diploma of Legal Practice academic and professional programs in 2017.

I am currently undertaking postgraduate study in the Master of Business Administration / Master of Human Resource Management combined academic program.

Student Experience at UON
Over the course of my undergraduate programs here at the University of Newcastle, I have mentored commencing students from a wide range of faculties, providing them with information and advice from a student perspective. Through volunteering for innovative programs such as ‘International Office Speed Conversations’ and the ‘Language Centre Skype Volunteer Program’, I have assisted international students with settling in at the University.

In 2015, I led a team of four undergraduate students in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Global Student Challenge, an entrepreneurship competition. This leadership role involved not only managing the activities of the team but also liaison with management across all levels of UON. The team was successful through to the semi-finals held in Hong Kong during June 2015.
