Career Summary

Biography

Laura is currently a Ph.D. candidate in building from the School of Architecture and Built Environment.

Her specialization is Public and Private Partnership (PPPs) tendering phase for social infrastructure projects (hospitals, prisons, schools...) in Australia. The tendering phase being long, complex and expensive for both public and private partners, there is room for improvement on the matter.

After reviewing all the research done to date in the area, she identified success factors and root issues of these long and complex tendering phases. The next step of her project will be to interview experts from public and private entities in order to validate and improve her understanding.

Her previous position as a bid manager in a facility management / BPO company gave her the experience of project management and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
