Career Summary


Dani Larkin is a Bundjalung woman from the northern New South Wales Region. She is a public law lawyer and her research focuses on, Indigenous cultural identity, political participation and comparative constitutional law. In doing so, Dani draws upon central internationally recognised rights and standards surrounding Indigenous self-determination and self-governance.

Dani's PhD research takes a comparative approach with constitutional law and electoral law reform in Australia, Canada and New Zealand that seek to politically and culturally empower their Indigenous colonised peoples.
