Biography

Mr Benjamin Peterson is an associate lecturer and clinical educator in the School of Health Sciences in the College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing. Benjamin completed a Bachelor of Podiatry (2015) and a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) (2016). He is currently undertaking a PhD with a focus on the risk factors for running-related injury in Australian recreational runners.

Benjamin has practiced clinically since 2016, and has been an active member of the Podiatry department since 2016. Ben's teaching focuses are the biomechanical function of the lower extremity and clinical skills in Podiatry. Benjamin has recently coordinated Podiatry program courses, including: PDTY2103 - Advanced Foot Anatomy and Biomechanics, and PDTY3202 - Advanced Podiatry Practice.

Benjamin has a strong research interest in biomechanics, running-related injury, chronic disease management, and physical activity promotion.
