Career Summary

Biography

Anni is a casual academic at the University of Newcastle (Australia). From 2009 to 2015 she was a lecturer in architecture, specialising in environmental design strategies (first year) and public buildings in an urban context (third year). She was also a course coordinator of a computational communication course.

Previous to moving to Australia, Anni was a practicing architect in Germany working on the design on construction on a variety of projects including small to medium-dense residential and office buildings as well as industrial and public projects. Anni worked also from 2002 - 2006 as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz (Germany). From 2007 to 2008 she was employed as Research Assistant at the University of Newcastle (Australia). In 2016, Anni has submitted successfully her dissertation entitled "Examining Prospect-Refuge Theory in Architecture: The Impact of Spatial Dimensions on Preference Ratings for Interiors".
