Ourimbah Library MakerSpace opens soon
Ourimbah Library MakerSpace opens 2 September
Over the past few months the Ourimbah Library has been building our new MakerSpace. This community space enables students and staff to come together to create, design and make. The MakerSpace can be used for class projects, by student clubs, to test an idea, de-stress or learn something new. You'll be able to 3D design, scan and print, sew, knit, crochet, craft, program micro computers and edit audio or video.
Equipment in the MakerSpace includes: Prusa i3 Mk3 3D printers, Einscan 3D scanner, GoPro, green screen, sewing, embroidery and coverstitch machines, Raspberry Pi 3 kits, LEGO Boost and Mindstorm robots, boxes of LEGO Classic, board games, jigsaw puzzles and colouring in.
Library staff are excited to be opening the doors on 2 September, so join in, bring your imagination and get ready to make!
