Food Science Taste Tests
Could you be a supertaster? Take the test to find out if you’re amongst the 20 per cent of the population that has more taste buds than the rest of us - which can explain things like aversions to bitter flavours and even certain vegetables! Happening all day in the Southeast Precinct.

Participate in sport science
Get a taste of what it’s like to be an exercise and sport scientist with balancing games, ball skills activities and even long jump – all happening in the main quad.

Podiatry Demo
They say your eyes are the window to your soul but your feet could be the window to your health. Did you know that podiatrists can identify health problems based entirely on your feet? Step into our very own mini-clinic in the Southeast Precinct to see our students in action!

Visit the Innovation Hub
Do you fancy shaking hands with a robot? Or perhaps seeing inside the human brain? UON’s Innovation Team works to bring new and exciting technology like virtual reality and artificial intelligence to the University, giving students across a range of disciplines the opportunity to learn in a futuristic way.

Medical skills stations
Get a hands-on feel for the tools that medical professionals use on a daily basis – we’re talking tendon hammers, stethoscopes, pupil torches and more! Happening all day in the Southeast Precinct.
