Pride Week 2019
Pride Week is the annual celebration of pride, diversity and culture for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQA+) community at the University of Newcastle.
To launch the week of activity, staff and students will gather outside The Great Hall on Monday 26 August for a ceremonial raising of the Pride Flag. This is the third year the Pride Flag has been flown at the Callaghan Campus.

- Pride Flag Raising: 12pm, Great Hall
Tuesday 27th August
- Carnival: 11.00am – 12.00pm, Park on the Hill
- Pride Week Trivia Night: 6.30pm – 9.00pm, The Clarendon Hotel
Wednesday 28th August
- NewSpace ALLY Morning Tea: 10.30am, NewSpace Mezzanine
- Movie Night: ‘Love, Simon’: 6.00pm, ATC-210
Thursday 29th August
- Art Installation: 12.00pm – 2.00pm, Park on the Hill
