Making Sense of Eating Disorders: The Lived Experience
Researchers in occupational therapy at the University of Newcastle (UON) are exploring how responses to sensory stimuli may affect the experience of or recovery from an eating disorder
We are seeking people to participate in this study who:
- Consider themselves recovered or in recovery from an eating disorder
- Are comfortable talking about their eating disorder experience
- Are a minimum of 18 years old
- Are English-speaking
- Reside in/near Newcastle, Australia
Unfortunately, if you are currently in treatment in an inpatient hospital or day treatment program and/or enrolled in the Occupational Therapy program at University of Newcastle, then you are not eligible to participate in the study.
Data collection will take place via focus group at the University of Newcastle; therefore, you must live in or near the Newcastle Area.
