Lecture: Better Healthier Living

Thursday, 27 August 2020

Watch our lecture hosted by Professor Frances Kay-Lambkin, where she examines the impact these complex times have had on health – from how we service our communities, to how we build resilience and not least how we talk about and manage mental health.

Lecture: Better Healthier Living

A proud Novocastrian and passionate mental health researcher, Professor Kay-Lambkin and her panel of health experts discuss the health of our regions and how our researchers and clinicians are contributing knowledge and effort as we respond to these cumulative health challenges.

The panel also touch on the advantages and opportunities of an integrated model of healthcare, and how the University of Newcastle is providing leadership in this area.

In this lecture, we have a conversation on the couch that shines a spotlight on the health and mental health of our regions, how our researchers and clinicians are responding, and what important opportunities we've been able to leverage to improve our health and mental health response."

Professor Frances Kay-Lambkin, Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation)
