Keep it Clever

The Keep It Clever: Let's not get left behind Australia campaign, an initiative of Universities Australia, highlights the crucial function of Australia's universities in enriching society, building new industries, keeping the country competitive and growing the economy for a stronger, brighter future.

UON is a leader in university education, with a reputation for high quality teaching and learning, and exciting, contemporary academic programs.

Each year, UON produces graduates who go on to become international leaders, innovators and professionals who contribute to the infrastructure and development of their profession, communities, regions and nations – making a difference on many levels for a stronger society.

UON graduates are not only successful, career-ready, in demand and able to find great jobs quickly, they also earn a median starting salary that is $2,000 higher than the national average*.

UON is one of a number of Australian universities supporting the campaign, which stresses the need to support the capacity of universities to respond to an increasing demand for highly skilled graduates whose expertise will enable the nation to maintain and improve its competitiveness in a rapidly changing world.
