The panel gives the team from The University of Newcastle preferred supplier status for ten years on all research, evaluation, and data analysis work generated by the Department. Discussions with the Department of Employment have revealed that other federal and state government (NSW and Victoria) departments will also access the panel for research and evaluation projects, giving the UoN team opportunities to tender for a large volume of work.

The successful team is led by Dr Michael Askew, Project Director of CSRRF and includes the following UoN researchers drawn from three faculties and four schools (in alphabetical order ): Dr Hedda Askland, Prof Ljiljana Brankovic, A/Prof Stephan Chalup, Dr David Farrugia, Prof John Germov, Prof Jenny Gore, Prof Mel Gray, Dr Milena Heinsch, Prof Allyson Holbrook, Dr Amanda Howard, Dr Robert King, Dr Alexandre Mendes, Prof Pam Nilan, and Prof Max Smith.
