Alan Jones Lends His Support to Convicted Child Killer Kathleen Folbigg
Support for convicted child killer Kathleen Folbigg is gathering support with Radio host Alan Jones now joining the calls to have her case reviewed.
News.com reports that Alan Jones has visited Kathleen Folbigg, 45, in Silverwater jail and says she is innocent. The 2GB star believes that the evidence used in the conviction of Folbigg in 2003 has been "discredited".
The University of Newcastle Legal Centre has been assisting Folbigg in her efforts to seek a judicial enquiry into her case. Folbigg was sentenced to 30 years' jail for the manslaughter of her first child Caleb, 19 days, and the murder of her other children, Patrick, eight months, Sarah, 10 months, and Laura, 19 months between 1989 and 1999, but has always maintained her innocence.
