One of the best ways to start your semester on the right foot is to make sure you are as prepared as possible before classes begin. We've put together this handy list of tools, apps and videos you can use to prepare for uni and make sure you're relaxed and ready when the first day of semester arrives.

MyUON appmyUON is UON's student app and portal, providing you with a centralised gateway to the most commonly used student systems and information sources. This includes a direction tile to find every tutorial room, lab, lecture theatre, coffee shop, bus stop, sports field, toilet, even your nearest vending machine and free microwaves. Download the myUON app and click through the directions tile.

Uni Tune In - Uni Tune In is our study skills/academic literacy app. It is a free app with short videos on topics like understanding assignments, note taking, active listening, assessing evidence and academic writing. It's available on both Apple and Android devices.

Maths Tune Up - Maths Tune Up is a series of short animated videos packed full of explanations and examples of some of the fundamental mathematical concepts. They cover a wide range of topics and are designed to give you a head start with your maths subjects at uni. Check out Maths Tune Up to watch the videos and get up to speed quickly.
