Student Feedback on Orientation

Here are some of the great things our students said about Orientation. We are happy that Orientation days have been such a success and beneficial to so many students who are beginning their NEW journey at UON.

The orientation as a whole was very valuable in informing and giving an insight into expectations of my course. It also led to me feeling much calmer approaching my first day, and allowed me to be a lot more familiar with where I had to be."

Thank you for such a great event! I was dreading the day, thinking that I would be bored and just hear all of the things I had already read on the net. But I was pleasantly surprised! I now feel ready to tackle this challenge head on!!

All activities and offered information sessions I was available to attend were very inspiring for me as I'm of mature age and new to uni and this form of study.

It's great to get to know others in a similar situation to mine and meet some of the teachers and become familiar with particular concepts such as PASS and how to organize yourself while balancing full time uni/work/life.”

The program conveners and coordinators were easy to talk to and ask questions. I did B arts info session and liked how they brought in different people to discuss the various major/minor areas. I found out about courses that I wasn't aware of, so that was helpful.”
