International Orientation Week Schedule - Semester 1 2019

Orientation (known as “O Week”) is your first week at UON before classes start. It includes information sessions that will give you practical information about living and studying at the university, as well as a range of social activities and off campus outings to help you get to know the area and make new friends with other international and domestic students.

Orientation is a great opportunity find out what you need to know about university life and being a UON student! Orientation for Trimester 1 2019 will be held at the Newcastle City Precinct on Thursday 31 January 2019.

Orientation for Semester 1 2019 will be held in the week between Friday 15 February and Friday 22 February 2019.

Indigenous Australians at the UON.

Below is a range of fun excursions and activities designed to facilitate cross-cultural interaction between all students, introducing you to Australian culture, and allow you to experience the best of Newcastle and the Hunter.
