AIESEC Social Entrepreneur Project Indonesia
Looking for an opportunity to explore, cross borders, thrive, and make a difference in global communities?
ILEAD Plus is partnering with AIESEC International to broker placements for students studying at UON to undertake an international development project in Bandung, Indonesia! AIESEC International is a well-established global youth network facilitating cultural exchange programs and building leadership capacity for over 50 years and has an extensive member network in over 126 countries worldwide.
A pilot program has been established to trial the partnership and gather feedback on the AIESEC experience. The program will offer students of UON 10x iLEAD Plus Scholarships of $1500.00 each to assist with costs on the international volunteering placement (program fees, accommodation, flights, medical checks, visa, etc.).
Awarded UON participants will undertake an unpaid social entrepreneur project placement for 6 weeks with AIESEC Indonesia Chapter and local host NGOs in the Bandung city region. Participants will work alongside volunteers from the global AIESEC network and will have the chance to foster intercultural exchange among fellow participants and the local community members. UON participants will be supervised and supported by the host NGO, as well as a local AIESEC member guide for the duration of the project.
This is an exciting, new opportunity, and the first time that such an offering has been available to students at UON. You will have the chance to create social impact at a grass-roots level.
